Mini Party Banner

This is just a quick little post.
My friend Monica needed this Six Pack of specialty beers
fixed up for a gift.
She purchased the cardboard six pack holder at Trader Joe's.
Here's what I made up for her.

I used some of my fav retired paper and made a mini banner.
It turned out perfect don't you think?

Butterfly Thinlits and Painted Petals

Painted Petals and Butterfly Thinlits are a perfect match.
I made this simple but pretty card.
The first card is done with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie ink
for the butterfly.

The second card I used Pacific Point Ink and Pear Pizzaz ink.

This card is so easy to make.
Let me show you
I cut a piece of 4 " x 4" Basic Black cs.
Using the Medium size butterfly from the thinlits set
I ran it through the Big Shot.
I then had the butterfly image and the outline of it.
I used my sponge daubers to sponge the color on using the
black card stock as my stencil. As you can see below.

When you are done sponging you end up with this below.

I used the 2-way glue pen (which is marvelous)
to cover the back completely with the glue.

Then just stick it down.

For the flowers I used the new stamp set
Painted Petals which I think look so pretty together.

Here are both of the cards.

Painted Petals meets Sophisticated Serifs

I Love that Stampin Up came out with Photopolymer large letter stamps Sophisticated Serifs
(no pun intended)
They will be so useful for so many projects like Pennants.
They were so easy to line up because they are really clear.
I added the Painted Petals stamp set for the flowers.
These cards turned out so pretty.

Bright and Beautiful

I have a new Christmas Card for you today using
the Bright & Beautiful Stamp set for the Holiday catalog

I first sponged the edges and raised area with Crumb Cake after I embossed the Naturals CS.
Then I used the 2-way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds to add sparkle.

I love to collect old wooden spools to put all my twine on.
I take them off the card board that it comes on and wrap it on a old spool.

So pretty!
